Village Church hosts Egyptian scholar, Christian leader

An evening lecture featuring the Rev. Dr. Atef Gendy, president of the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, Egypt, was held Nov. 21 at the Village Community Presbyterian Church in Rancho Santa Fe.

Gendy is a world-renowned scholar and leader in Egypt and the Middle East. He has been president of the seminary for the past 14 years, where he also teaches the New Testament. Photos by Jon Clark.
