Sports fields in Rancho Santa Fe to re-open in August

The Rancho Santa Fe Sports Fields have been closed for repair work but will re-open on Aug. 4, according to Rancho Santa Fe Association Director Jerry Yahr, the liaison for the trails and recreation committee.

“The field is looking great,” Yahr said. “I think it’s going to be very good for all athletic programs in the Ranch.”

Yahr said trail improvements are also being done in front of the fields, creating a larger asphalt apron to make entry easier for people, as well as aesthetically enhancing that section of Rambla de las Flores.
