Solana Santa Fe Elementary School students talk turkey
Rancho Santa Fe Review writer Karen Billing asked kindergartners in Monica Rainville’s class at Solana Santa Fe Elementary School how to make a Thanksgiving turkey. Feast on their adorable answers:
“First I take a scissors and cut the feathers. Then I put it in my soup pot and then mix it up and then I eat it. I eat it with sprinkles and marshmallows.”

“Well we go to Montana every single Thanksgiving. My grandpa’s girlfriend brings the turkey and cooks it in the oven. Most of my cowboy friends come over and eat the turkey. We eat lots of ham with it, all different kinds. One is really sugary ham.”
