“During her time with the Fire District, Renee has proven herself to be a hard worker and exceled with each new challenge presented her,” said Chief Michel. “She is a true asset to the Fire District and we are fortunate to have her lead our Fire Prevention efforts.”

Hill began her career with the Fire District in 2005 as a Fire Prevention Specialist, conducting sprinkler and new construction inspections. She was promoted to Deputy Fire Marshal in 2012 at which time she added plan checks and code enforcement to her list of responsibilities. As the Fire Marshal she will oversee the operations of the Fire Prevention Bureau.

“I am grateful and humbled to accept the position of Fire Marshal for the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District,” said Hill. “This is an exceptional organization and community to serve and I am honored to be a part of it. Our success would not be possible without the support and encouragement from the Board of Directors, managers, and our staff members. We will continue to strive to meet the mission of the organization and I look forward to the future progression of the Fire District.’
