The Rancho Santa Fe School District board swore in its newest trustees at its Tuesday, Dec. 7, meeting, with Marti Ritto and Todd Frank taking the oath from district superintendent Lindy Delaney.

Both Ritto and Frank are R. Roger Rowe parents, each with two children in the school.

Ritto moved to the district from the Bay Area in 2003 and has several years of experience in Internet, media production and product management, working for Yahoo! in its early days. She has experience working for nonprofits and is also a professional opera singer who, along with her husband, has performed with the San Diego Opera Chorus.

Frank has lived in the district since 2002 and has been very active at Rowe, working as the treasurer and vice chair of the Rancho Santa Fe Education Foundation.

Frank is a self-described “recovering CPA”—he has kept his license active and has run his own wealth management and investment management firm, Frank Financial, for eight years.

At the meeting, the board also elected its officers, with Richard Burdge again accepting a term as president, nominated by Jim Depolo.

“I’d be happy to work with him under his leadership as we continue running our school,” Depolo said.

Burdge returned the favor by nominating Depolo for vice president. Trustee Jim Cimino was named clerk.
