Rancho Santa Fe Foundation accepting 2014 Rancho Santa Fe Community Grant Proposals

The Rancho Santa Fe Foundation has invited RSF nonprofits to apply for 2014 Community Grants. This competitive grant process is worth up to $5,000 for each organization selected as a recipient.

Local organizations eligible to apply for a grant include the RSF Art Guild, RSF Community Center, RSF Garden Club, Helen Woodward Animal Center, RSF Historical Society, RSF Library Guild, R. Roger Rowe School and the RSF Senior Center. Organizations are encouraged to collaborate on developing programs for the betterment of the community.

The Requests for Proposals are due no later than 4 p.m. Oct. 22, and funding decisions will be announced in mid-November.

Previous grants include funding for the Summer Reading Program at the RSF Library, support for the Performing Arts Center, the RSF Community Center and the RSF Senior Center. The RSF Foundation has been committed to the betterment of RSF community organizations since 1981, having made grants totaling nearly $14 million in the past 14 years.
