Rancho Santa Fe Firefighters contain small vegetation fire in 4S Ranch

On Friday, April 5, at 4:10 p.m., firefighters from the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District (RSFFPD) and San Diego Fire Department responded to a reported vegetation fire near Camino del Norte and Craftsman Way in 4S Ranch.

When they arrived on scene, firefighters found a small fire burning in a riparian area. They were able to quickly extinguish the fire, holding it to approximately a quarter acre. There were no structures threatened or injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
