Photos of suspects in Rancho Santa Fe burglaries released
Two men suspected of burglarizing homes in Rancho Santa Fe were at large Friday, and Crime Stoppers was offering a reward for information leading to their capture.
Four homes were burglarized the afternoon of Oct. 13 in the 15000 block of Sun Valley Lane, the 4000 block of Rancho Grande Lane, the 15000 block of Rancho Real, and the 15000 block of Via Del Alba, according to San Diego County Crime Stoppers.
During one of the burglaries, a pet monitoring camera captured images of the men crawling around the house to avoid burglar alarm laser sensors.
The burglars — who took mostly jewelry and a National Security Agency identification card — possibly fled in a late 1990s or early 2000s silver, four-door Toyota Camry.
One of the burglars is believed to be a black man in his late 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches and 250-300 pounds, with a muscular build.
The other is also a large black man, over 6 feet tall, with a tattoo behind his right ear.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. Tipsters can remain anonymous. Crime Stoppers can be reached at (888) 580-8477 and online at
