Next ‘Coffee and Conversation’ event is Sept. 19; Topic is ‘The politics of planning: A time for election and reflection’

Steve Kurtz, a vice president with Hartford Global, part of the Global Wealth Group that distributes investment products specifically designed for retirement, will be the next “Coffee and Conversation” guest speaker. The event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 8-9 a.m. at the RSF Golf Club.

With the 2012 presidential election year in the home stretch, much of the nation’s focus is on politics — who is running for office, and on what platform of ideas. The word “politics” comes from the adjective “politic” — to be shrewd or prudent in practical matters.
