‘Lord of Dance, A J. S. Bach Holiday Celebration’ to be held at Rancho Santa Fe School PAC Dec. 21-22

The family-friendly concert “Lord of Dance, A J. S. Bach Holiday Celebration”  will be held on Friday, Dec. 21, at 8 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Rancho Santa Fe Performing Arts Center (5927 La Granada, Rancho Santa Fe, 92067).

The concert includes works by J. S. Bach, Lully, L. Couperin, and traditional carols performed by Musical Oratory, an elite professional ensemble founded by alumni of the famed Juilliard School. Featured artists are local sensation violist Che-Yen Chen (also of Camera Lucinda and Principal Viola of the San Diego Symphony), critically-acclaimed operatic tenor Jorge Garza, UCSD harpsichord faculty Takae Ohnishi, and Baroque dancer Justin Coates (courtesy of the New York Baroque Dance Company, Catherine Turocy, director).
