A search is on to hire a new general manager for the RSF Golf Club following the resignation of longtime general manager Steve Nordstrom for “personal reasons,” according to RSF Association Manager Pete Smith.

Smith said the Golf Club is forming a search committee to help find Nordstrom’s replacement, and will also retain the services of a professional search firm.

Smith said he will serve as interim general manager of the Golf Club until Nordstrom’s replacement is found. In addition, longtime RSF Association staff member Nadine Garcia will serve as interim food and beverage manager of the Golf Club.

Smith said the RSF Golf Club is in very strong financial shape and is considered one of the most prestigious clubs in the state.

Nordstrom had been the club’s general manager for more than 11 years, Smith said.
