Local students score big in American Mathematics Contest
Three students from Santa Fe Christian Schools have been listed on the
Honor Roll by the Mathematics Association of America, scoring in the top 5 percent of the world on the AMC 12 test. The purpose of the AMC 12 is to identify those few students with truly exceptional mathematics talent.
The outstanding performance of Santa Fe junior Kelly Hoffman and seniors Micah Lyle and Kade Shoemaker have earned them an invitation to take the American Invitational Mathematics Exam in March.
