Living in Paradise Is Worth Every Penny

Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I have to pinch myself. Even though I’ve called Rancho Santa Fe home for many years, I still can’t believe how fortunate I am to live in a place that has such enviable weather, incomparable natural beauty, and such a warm, fun-loving community. It’s really no wonder that when I arrived in San Diego for the first time in 1975—when I was supposed to stay for only nine weeks—I never went back East again.
Life in Southern California -- and Rancho Santa Fe in particular -- is like living in a resort that’s also called home.
First and foremost, we live in a place where we can open the windows and truly enjoy the outdoors – 365 days/12 months a year. We don’t have to live inside screened porches by summer and storm windows by winter!
There are no white outs, no scraping your windshield with your credit card to clear the ice, and no abandoning your car on the freeway due to the snow drifts. Instead, our weather allows us to be more active, which translates into better health and vitality. We lead active lives full of enjoyment in Rancho Santa Fe!
In the Covenant, we also have The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe with great dining and entertainment, a brand new Spa at the Inn with truly exceptional services, The RSF Golf Course and Club with incredible dining and “yappy” hours when we can bring our beloved pooches for happy hour. Here in Rancho Santa Fe, we have the greatest walking golf course in the land, hiking and riding trails ...and the list goes on and on.
Since I moved here, I have witnessed thousands of people who wait and save their money so that they can come “visit” this neck of the woods. Yet, we all are lucky enough to wake up to this every day. Every day truly is a holiday. And owning a piece of paradise is worth every penny of it!
