Just in time for the holidays, the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club is offering an inspiring program to help you with your entertaining this season and for years to come! Olga Tuchscher Krasnoff will present her famous seminar “Dining By Design,” the creative guide to entertaining on Wednesday, Nov. 10, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the RSF Garden Club.Krasnoff will start with the importance of an “inviting” invitation, how to set the mood and how entertaining can be stressless. In her presentation, Krasnoff will do a demonstration, to help the audience to “think out of the box” when entertaining, she will emphasize the art of the napkin and show how everyday objects in your home can become works of art. “Dining By Design” is also the title of Krasnoff’s beautiful book, which will available at the event. A Continental Breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m. and is included in the cost of $45 per person. This time of year always brings out the child in all of us as we remember family gatherings, gifts, traditions, lights, decorated trees, candles, colors and the music of the season. On Friday, Nov. 19, there will be a holiday journey to Newport Beach to visit Roger’s Gardens and Sherman Gardens, where “Holiday Magic” will be on display in the surrounding beauty of these well-known gardens. There will be themed decorated trees laden down with lights and ornaments, seasonal plants in all their color and uniquely displayed, and, of course, opportunity for shopping. The Sherman Gardens is always a delightful and beautiful venue for lunch. Grandparents are welcome to bring that special child that will be in awe and delight at all the Holiday Magic.
Join Ginger Bord on Nov. 19 for a “magical” day of holiday garden touring. The bus will leave the Garden Club at 9:30 a.m. and return 4:30-5 p.m., the cost is $45 per person and the lunch is no-host. Your check is confirmation of your reservation or call the Garden Club at 858-756-1554.
