Humane Society Pet of the Week

“Sassafras” is the pet of the week at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 2-year-old, 40-pound, spayed, female, Staffordshire Terrier mix.

One of the care providers in Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s kennels describes Sassafras as “squishy.” If you sit in her kennel, Sassy will be happy to sit on your lap. If you get close enough, you might get a kiss. She really loves to cuddle. No matter how close she is to you, Sassafras would like to be a little bit closer. She was transferred to RCHS from another shelter through the FOCAS program.

The $145 adoption fee for Sassafras includes medical exam, up-to-date vaccinations, spay, and microchip.
