Helen Woodward Animal Center Pet of the Week

Slow to a strut and get on “island time” with Helen Woodward Animal Center’s Pet-of-the-Week, Kauai. This 2-year-old, 14 lb. domestic longhair blend is a mellow guy known to sun his soft black fur for hours, just purring and snoozing the day away. He has a cool island style, and a friendly, outgoing personality that will make him a great companion for families looking for a fun forever addition.

Kauai is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. He has been neutered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $119, and, as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center, he is micro chipped for identification. As an added bonus, Hulk also comes with two free passes to Sea World.

Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Thursday, from noon to 6 p.m.; Fridays from noon to 7 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing).
