Rancho Santa Fe’s R. Roger Rowe School invited all grandparents and special friends of students to visit the school for a special Thanksgiving performance on Nov. 22.
The event included dance, band, choir, and strings performances in the Performing Arts Center. In addition, this special event provided an opportunity for visitors to tour classrooms and learn about student curriculum and activities. Middle school students also asked their grandparents and special friends to join them for lunch.
Information was provided at the event about the Rancho Santa Fe Education Foundation’s Grandparents’ Club through which grandparents and special friends can register to volunteer at the school and contribute to the Education Foundation’s annual grant to the school.
The Education Foundation is a private organization that provides support to the school district through an annual grant used to provide important benefits, including small class sizes, specialized teachers and enhanced educational programs. For more information, visit
