In a shotgun format, 104 golfers drove, chipped, and putted their way around The Crosby at Rancho Santa Fe on Tuesday, Sept. 14, in the third annual San Diego Hospice Invitational Golf Tournament.

This year’s successful event raised more than $110,000 to help fund bereavement programs through The Center for Grief Care at San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine, including Camp Erin San Diego, a unique summer camp for children who have suffered the loss of a loved one.

Proceeds from the tournament will also support other grief and loss programs managed by The Center for Grief Care and Education.

Following the tournament, 130 guests, including the day’s golfers, enjoyed both silent and live auctions hosted by Master of Ceremonies Bill Menish, a leisurely cocktail hour, a family-style dinner and informal awards ceremony. The overall winners of this year’s golf tournament are Paul McParlane, Jeff Lewis, Dave Clarkin, and Allan Hampton.
