Clambake Men’s Golf Tournament at Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club
The annual Clambake Men’s Golf Tournament was held recently at the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club. The event included a tournament, awards ceremony and dinner. The event also included a stag party with the RSF Golf Club staff dressing up in old-time costumes.
Bing Crosby started the original “Clambake” in 1937 when he was a member at the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club, where he held the weekend tournament at the club until 1942 when the tournament was relocated to Pebble Beach due to the war.
The Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club’s membership has continued the popular tradition.
