KAUAI COFFEE

is just about the most delicious coffee I have ever tasted. It is grown, harvested, processed, milled, sorted and graded by Kauai Coffee Company. This is Hawaii’s largest coffee estate, growing 100 percent arabica near Koloa, on the Garden Island of Kauai. Try it! The proof is in the cup! You can find this very special coffee at Stump’s Market in Rancho Santa Fe.

IF YOU USE COUPONS

you will like this website. It has every code imaginable from every store imaginable, all alphabetized. Just pull up currentcodes.com and see for yourself!

A PINCH OF NUTMEG

will enhance the flavor of any creamy or cheesy sauce.

MAKE YOUR MASHED POTATOES

the day before your feast and put them in your cooker the day of the party. Heat them on the low cycle and stir in warm, heavy cream if the potatoes are the least bit dry. Delicious! (Even more delicious is when you add some blue cheese and rosemary to your mashed potatoes. Sensational!)

Airfarewatchdog.com is a great website. You’ll get all sorts of deals from your airport. Follow its feed for unpublished airfares and last-minute sales.

DO YOUR CHILDREN LIKE CHOCOLATE “JIMMIES”

on their ice-cream cones? They are hard to find! But you’ll find fresh containers of them at (of all places) the 99 cent store!
