Sentebale, a charity that helps vulnerable orphans and children survive and thrive, was born from the compassion and humanitarianism of Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso.

Sentebale means “forget me not” and was adopted for the title of the foundation in loving memory of the Princes’ mothers, who they both lost at a young age.

Sentebale is more than an organization that donates money it has taken a new approach to aiding those in need by operating on long-term goals. It works with local partners and grass roots movements to offer at-risk children health and education services that will change their lives for the better. In order to ensure the ongoing success of their mission, award-winning philanthropist Lena Evans leads the efforts and as such has arranged a number of exciting events in the U.S. centered around raising awareness and support for the cause. The charity works year-round directing aid to community services and entrepreneurial projects that will provide long-term services to children facing illness, disabilities, abuse, and abandonment.
