Caught on fire

A Sheriff’s car recently caught fire on Lomas Santa Fe/ Linea Del Cielo at the entrance to Rancho Santa Fe. At presstime the cause of the fire was unknown. The Deputy driving the car was not hurt and was able to get most of his belongings out in time, according to Rancho Santa Fe Patrol Chief Matt Wellhouser. Top photo/Rory Bennett.
