Former Major League Baseball player and Rancho Santa Fe resident Mike Sweeney held his Catholic Baseball Camp at Cathedral Catholic High School fields July 24-26. Joining Sweeney in offering professional instruction to campers were fellow RSF residents and former MLBers Trevor Hoffman, Steve Finley, Jermaine Dye and Mark Loretta. Other guest coaches included Charger quarterback Philip Rivers and former MLB players Bobby Grich, Mike Sweeney Sr., Jim Nettles, Mike Breslin, Tony LaRocca, Ron Witmeyer, Jeff Cesari and Goeff Geary.
