‘All Fore the Community’ golf classic and tennis round robin is Oct. 24
This annual event is the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center’s second largest fundraiser, accounting for over one third of the Center’s fundraising budget. The event went from being simply a golf tournament into a golf and tennis extravaganza. With the addition of the tennis element this year, the Center is hoping to attract golf and tennis aficionados alike. Community support from individuals and businesses is critical to the success of the event each year.
“Involving community members of all ages embraces the mission and spirit of the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center,” said Erin Leahey, Executive Director of the Community Center. “What makes the event special is that participants don’t need to be members of the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club or Tennis Club to participate. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a fun filled day.”
Festivities will take place from 1:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Participants can sign up for 9-holes of golf or partake in a round robin tournament of tennis. To play 9-holes of golf it is $125 for adults and $75 for children. To participate in the round robin tennis tournament it is $75 for adults and $50 per child. All paid participates receive dinner at a fun filled after party with their entrance fee.
