Rancho Santa Fe Literary Society hosts author Scott Anderson
The RSF Literary Society hosted guest speaker Scott Anderson, author of “Lawrence in Arabia,” at a luncheon held March 19 at The Grand Del Mar.
Based on four years of intensive primary document research, “Lawrence in Arabia definitively overturns received wisdom on how the modern Middle East was formed.”
Anderson is a veteran war correspondent who has reported from Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Northern Ireland, Chechnya, Sudan, Bosnia, El Salvador and many other strife-torn countries. A frequent contributor to the New York Times Magazine, his work has also appeared in Vanity Fair, Esquire, Harper’s and Outside.
Look for a story on Anderson in the next issue of the RSF Review (April 2).
The RSF Literary Society is sponsored by Northern Trust, the RSF Community Center and the RSF Review.
