2016 Clambake Men’s Invitational Golf Tournament

The 2016 Clambake Men’s Invitational Golf Tournament was held at the RSF Golf Club July 28-30.

The event is a three-day Member/Guest tournament scheduled to coincide with the Del Mar Thoroughbred Racing program. The RSF Golf Club was the site of the first six Bing Crosby Pro-Am Tournaments, played from 1937-1942. Since he invited a select group of golf professionals and friends from Hollywood to play the RSF golf course, Crosby called the tournament a “clambake,” according to an invitation letter sent to event participants. Photos on this page were taken at the July 28 welcome party and clambake.
