Operation Game On Golf Classic

Operation Game On’s 9th annual Golf Classic fundraiser was held Aug. 15 at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club. In addition to the golf tournament, the event included food, beverages, tee prizes, silent auction and a chance to meet “combat injured heroes.” Operation Game On provides “golf as a form of rehabilitation for returning combat injured troops, both active military and veterans, suffering from severe physical and mental disabilities sustained during OIF/OEF.”

Operation Game On will be adding a new program exclusively for wounded women veterans called “Combat Wounded Women Veterans Golf.” “The first class is scheduled to launch on Sept. 6, 2016, taught by Matt Clay, PGA, and his staff at the Del Mar Golf Center beginning at 11:30 a.m., said Tony Perez, founder of Operation Game On.
