‘San Diego Police Officers’ The Widow & Orphans Fund’ kick-off event

The Advisory Board of The San Diego Police Officers Association (SDPOA) Charity Fund held a reception Jan. 16 at the Fairbanks Ranch home of Mike and Lori Conger. The event welcomed new San Diego Chief of Police Dave Nisleit and two new board members, Casey Brown and Douglas W. Manchester. The board is made up of community and business leaders in San Diego who have a deep appreciation and dedication to law enforcement and their families. Board members assist the fund with philanthropy and strategic guidance on ensuring the fund has the necessary resources available at all times.

The event was also held to kick off preparations for the 11th Annual Widows and Orphans Fund Golf Tournament to be held April 4 at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar.
