TVIA SD-3 Chapter meeting features check presentation, guest speaker

Teen Volunteers in Action (TVIA) SD-3 Chapter held a Parent Meeting Jan. 16 at the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club. The event featured guest speaker Dr. Shashita Inamdar, a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, and member of the Clinical Faculty at UCSD School of Medicine, Dept. of Psychiatry.

In addition, a check presentation was made to Solutions for Change, one of the philanthropic organizations the chapter supports. Solutions for Change “transforms lives and communities by providing lasting and sustainable solutions to solving family homelessness. Their approach involves solutions driven by support and accountability,” the chapter said on its event agenda.
