Team Penning event benefits foster teens

Friends of San Pasqual Academy hosted a Team Penning competition Sept. 10 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds to benefit the foster teens of San Pasqual Academy. Team Penning is an “exciting and fun activity to watch that involves horses, western riders and cows. It is a timed competition, where a team of three riders on horses attempt to put three of the same numbered cows in a pen.
