Future Legends holds ‘Steps to Success’ program

Future Legends scholars and mentors met at the RSF Golf Club Aug. 28 for their first lesson, “Dining Etiquette,” in the Future Legends’ newest program, Steps to Success. The evening was professionally led by Juliann Ford and Cathryn Ramirez of Manners Prep with assistance by Future Legends event Chair Susie Ault. The evening was filled with a bit of humor as the mentors found themselves learning a few new skills right along with the scholars. In addition to their academic achievements, the students will need to hone sometimes new social skills as well, all contained in the Steps to Success program: Social Media, Manners and Etiquette, Confidence Building, and more. What is too often missed in the university programs will also be covered, such as Resume Writing and Interview Skills that also includes interviewing via Skype.
