Cathedral Catholic was scored on in the first half of a game for the first time in six weeks, but that didn’t slow down the Dons very much at all as they extended their winning streak to five games with a decisive 28-3 Eastern League victory over Lincoln on Oct. 28.

Top-ranked Torrey Pines Mighty Falcons win Flag Fest

The undefeated TPPW Mighty Falcons, lead by head coach Ryan Patterson, lined up last Saturday against the undefeated Rancho Penasquitos Sun Devils, under the lights at Westview High School. In their championship game, both teams gave it their all, and after an exciting exchange of action, the Torrey Pines Mighty Falcons won 25 to 13.

A recent girls volleyball match at La Costa Canyon High School where the Mavericks swept El Camino in three straight games was dedicated to raise money for the Sideout Foundation to fund research in finding a cure for breast cancer.

Congratulations to Coach Malcolm Tovey and his Boys U-18 Green team for winning the 2011 Attack Classic Summer Tournament, held on Aug 20-22. The Attack team earned their way to the finals by winning every game, with only 1 goal scored against them.

Torrey Pines High School football program’s annual Golf Classic to be held at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club

Come support the proud and honored history of Falcon football on Monday, June 20, at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe. The day’s schedule will kick-off with a noon shotgun start.

Final Torrey Pines Pop Warner registration to be held April 20

The final Torrey Pines Pop Warner 2011 season registration will take place at the Ashley Falls MUR on April 20 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The league provides youth football and cheer placement for all boys and girls ages 6-14 who live within the Torrey Pines High School boundary area. All participants must pre-register at www.torreypinespw.com and bring the following to the in-person registration:
