The Rancho Santa Fe Education Foundation will honor Cap and Gown contributors to the R. Roger Rowe School with a great big “Gracias!” and a Mexican Fiesta on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. There will be tacos, margaritas, mariachis and dancing at the gorgeous home of Nora and Alex Kaiser. The celebration follows the recent “Red Envelope” campaign, a school-wide effort to collect contributions supporting the district’s “Five-Star Education” programs.

Rancho Valencia, an Auberge Resort in Rancho Santa Fe, has been recognized in the November/December 2010 issue of “Tennis” magazine as the No. 1 Tennis Resort in the United States. The Southern California resort placed first on the prestigious biennial list for the second consecutive time and has consistently been ranked by Tennis as a favorite North America tennis destination offering an extensive tennis program and services.

A variety of colorful characters and creatures participated in the Rancho Santa Fe Education Foundation’s annual Halloween Parade and Carnival Oct. 29. Event sponsor was Connelly Residential Group.

Over the last several months, the Ranch Clubhouse has been sending out surveys to Association members after they have had breakfast, lunch or dinner. The surveys also are sent to members who have had a banquet function at the club.

Solana Santa Fe School hosted its second annual Pumpkin Patch fundraiser Oct. 22.

Solana Santa Fe students recently wore sneakers to school for ‘Don’t Let Drugs Sneak Up on Your Day.’ During lunchtime, the children walked, ran or skipped laps around the playground, with participants receiving an apple. This kicked off the running club “Coyotes on the Move.”
